Interior Photography

Having a series of high quality interior photographs of your office or business will do wonders for your website. The API day-care centre at Milton wanted some fresh interior photographs of their centre for a branding refresh, so I headed down there one Sunday whilst the centre was child-free for an interior photography session.

Interior photography is very different to wedding and family photography. In many ways interior photography is far easier as all you need is a tidy room and a tripod!

In three hours we were able to get over 150 photos of the day-care centre. I photographed every one of the rooms, got some branding photographs in the reception area, and got some detail photos in each of the rooms. I also ventured outside for some external shots of the day-care centre.

Headshot Photography

A great website needs great images. A picture tells a thousand words, right?! And a series of fantastic headshots will not only bring your website to life, but will show your clients who they are dealing with. Phone selfies just don’t cut it these days – one sharp, stylised, and edited image will do the work of 100 blurry I-Phone photos! Happily I work fast! So when I get called out to a headshot shoot, we will regularly get several different headshots and poses in a very short time frame. I will travel to your workplace with my camera gear and lighting and will you have you looking fantastic in minutes!

The guys at Revolve Projects and Bayer Stevens share office space in Windsor, so in an hour we were able to get several different headshots of each person, both full height, and closer head shots, and even had time for some interior office photos too.

An hour goes by very quickly but the difference it will make to your website and social media presence is immense. Professional photography gives your business a professional outlook.

Event Photography Gold Coast

Andy was approached to photography Forty Winks’ annual conference. The event was spread over 2 evenings with the first evening being a more relaxed welcome gathering at Miami Marketta, and the 2nd evening was a formal Gala Awards Dinner at Movie World. We have photographed in both venues before so knew it well, and with detailed email and phone contact beforehand, we knew the precise timelines of both events.

The Miami Marketta event was a relaxed affair with welcome drinks, a brief welcome and speech by Forty Winks’ CEO, followed by a DJ and dancing into the night. Miami Marketta has food trucks on site, all of which makes for interesting event photographs! Andy has an eye for detail so photographed everything from candid people photographs to small details of the food trucks and menu.

Headshot Photography Brisbane

There is not much that will grab your client’s attention quicker than a set of professional headshot photographs on your website. I recently met with Adela from Rethink Psychology to capture some new, updated office photographs and headshot photography at her office in Stones Corner, Brisbane. Happily the office space was clean and without distractions so within minutes we had plenty of usable branding photos, and crisp, clear photos to show the work space.

We then moved onto the headshot photography, using both the inside of the office and an outdoor area to capture photographs of Adela in her working environment. I personally prefer the ‘on location’ look of headshots in situ, as opposed to the more traditional method of using a plain backdrop. It also requires less equipment, which means less hassle and less mess!

Adela had a few ideas for the photos, which made the headshot photography shoot go seamlessly.
